About HOOPLA!

HOOPLA! Summer Basketball Camp was started in 2002 to provide an opportunity for youngsters to learn the fundaments of basketball, while enjoying their summer vacation. The first year began with four weekly sessions and a total enrollment of approximately 100 campers.

HOOPLA! offers the combination of a developmentally sound basketball program and a traditional camp setting. Our primary concentration is on basketball basics, yet campers still have time to enjoy oter activities such as watching videos (both basketball and non-basketball related), playing table tennis, and a host of other activities, all supervised by our activities staff.

HOOPLA! camps have sold out each year, and our camps have grown to include both boys and girls from various states and countries.

Don Fozard, Jr.
Don Fozard, Jr. is the founder and director for the HOOPLA! camps. He strives to provide a safe, instructional, fun, and exciting atmosphere for each camper. "Coach Don" has years of experience as the Athletic Director for Mount Zion Christian Academy. He is also the executive director of the nationally-recognized Bull City Classic Basketball Tournament and the CEO of prepallstars.com.
